BTS Suga donates 100 mln won for wildfire victims

SEOUL, March 10 (Yonhap) -- BTS’s Suga, (birth name: Min Yoon-gi, 29), donated 100 million won in celebration of his birthday on Wednesday to help the victims suffering from forest fires on the east coast of Gangwon and Gyeongbuk, according to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association.

Suga previously donated 100 million won through Hope Bridge to Daegu, which suffered great damage from the mass infection in the early stages of the spread of COVID-19 in Korea in 2020.

Hope Bridge announced that by 3 p.m. on the 9th, about 34.3 billion won in donations for forest fire damage was given by 550,000 celebrities and citizens, including singers, actors, and sports players.
