SEOUL, Dec. 14 (Yonhap) -- The concert for the tenth season of Mnet's long-running hip-hop audition program "Show Me the Money" is receiving complaints due to the show's delay and the nonappearance of some rappers.

The production company for the concert "Show Me The Money 10 Concert: The Climax-Seoul," which was held on Dec. 11 at Olympic Park in Songpa-gu, Seoul, released an apology statement on the concert ticket reservation site on Monday.

"The concert was delayed in the process of checking the audience's vaccine pass in order to provide a safe performance and to comply with the government's quarantine guidelines," Big Picture Production said.

"The only way we could allow people inside the concert hall was when they presented proof of their quarantine passes. However, some artists did not meet these requirements and could not enter the venue," the company added. "As a result, it was difficult to notify the audience in advance on the absence of some artists."

Although the concert was originally scheduled to be held at 6 p.m., it did not start until 7 p.m., and the audience was notified of the delay at 6:40 p.m.

In addition, rappers Yumdda, Since, Code Kunst, Tabber, and MUSHVENOM, who were part of the artist lineup, were absent without prior notice.

Some of the audiences who watched the performance requested a full refund and plan to carry out group actions such as applying for damage relief from the Korea Consumer Agency.
