SEOUL, Apr. 4 (Yonhap) – S. Korean thriller movie “Anchor” starring Chun Woo-hee, Shin Ha-kyun, and Lee Hye-young has been pre-sold in 14 overseas countries, according to the distribution company ACEMAKER MOVIEWORKS on Monday.
The film was sold in 14 countries, including Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, and it has confirmed its release in Thailand on Apr. 28 and Taiwan on May 13.
“Anchor” depicts the story of a star news anchor who receives a call signaling a murder and covers the incident herself to break a scoop.
It is director Jung Ji-yeon’s first feature film and it will be released in Korea on Apr. 20.
