SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Yonhap) -- Rose of BLACKPINK is set to release a new single, APT., in collaboration with global pop star Bruno Mars on October 18 at 1 p.m. KST, as announced by her agency, The Black Label.

The Black Label teased the duet by sharing photos of Rose and Bruno Mars together on their official social media channels the day before, generating excitement for the release.

The single comes ahead of Rose’s debut full-length album, rosie, which is slated for release on December 6. Rose actively participated in writing and composing all 12 tracks on the album, offering listeners a glimpse into her personal and heartfelt narratives.

Rose previously achieved significant success with her solo track On The Ground in 2021, debuting at No. 70 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. In June of this year, she joined The Black Label under producer Teddy and signed with global music powerhouse Atlantic Records, preparing for broader international activities.

Bruno Mars, a 15-time Grammy Award-winning artist, is known for his chart-topping hits like Just the Way You Are and Grenade, which both reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
