SEOUL, Nov. 8 (Yonhap) -- SBS series “One The Woman” which is said to be Lee Ha-nee’s and Lee Ha-nee led drama, has finished its last episode marking it highest viewer rate.
The SBS Fridays-Saturdays series recorded its highest viewer rate, 17.8%, at 10 p.m. on the 7th, according to Nielson Korea.
In the final episode, Jo Yeon-joo (Lee) and Han Seoung-wook (Lee Sang-yoon) tore down the Hanju Group family and set out for their own happiness.
The series finished with an open-ending. Jo Yeon-joo comes back to Korea after passing the American lawyer test and sees another person who looks just the same as her.
The series gained interest with Lee’s double role. The intriguing dark-hero series exceeded 10% of viewer rate in just 3 episodes and stably marked viewer rate of two digits until the end.
It continually added comical aspects into the unless heavy plot. Its short and fun epilogues were praised as well.
The drama set a female hero as their main character and well-used actress Lee’s comical image she has made through film, “Extreme Job” and series “Yeolhyeolsaje.’
Also not only the main character but also the bad guy, Han Seong-hye (Jin Seo-yeon) actively led the series as well.
But there are comments that Kang Mi-na (Lee) who ran away abroad coming back spoiled the fun of the double-role.
Especially, viewers have been making guesses of why the two look the same but the story did not give an answer to such curiosity. Kang Mi-ne just takes a plastic surgery and returns with a whole new appearance which disappointed some viewers.
SBS will unveil its next production, “Now, We Are Breaking Up” a melodrama starring actress Song Hye-kyo and actor Jang Ki-yong.
Meanwhile, other series aired on the 7th, tvN “Mount Jiri” and JTBC “Inspector Koo” each marked 8% and 1.9% of viewer rate.
