SEOUL, Nov. 9 (Yonhap) -- Super band BTS will perform “Butter” at the AMAs (American Music Awards), one of America’s No. 3 music awards.
The band will perform “Butter” with a popular American female rapper, Megan Thee Stallion, AMAs announced on the 8th (local time).
The Awards ceremony will take place at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on the 21st and will be broadcast live on ABC.
This is the band’s first time perform “Butter” on stage with Megan Thee Stallion, according to American weekly magazine, People.
The world star released a remix version of the song featuring Megan Thee Stallion on August.
Rookie pop singer Olivia Rodrigo and Latin hip-hop singer Bad Bunny will perform for the ceremony as well.
BTS has put up its name for this year’s “Artist Of The Year” and “Favorite Duo or Group” and has been nominated for “Favorite Pop Song” Awards with “Butter” which topped Billboard Single Chart.
Meanwhile, the world is interested in whether there will be a Grammy Award for BTS. The Grammy Awards announce its nomination on the 23rd.
