SEOUL,
Jan. 6 (Yonhap) --
Blue Seed described the track as “the last publicly released new song” among music projects the singer has prepared over a long period of time.
“Life is a Drama” likens life to a single drama, viewing it not as something with a clearly defined ending but as a process that must continue to be written.
Through the song, Yim sings of the resolve to move forward by drawing strength from the countless times he has already fallen and risen again, even amid moments that feel like repeated setbacks or standing still.
The lyrics were penned by star lyricist Kim Eana.
Lines such as “Don’t you send me goodbye / Don’t talk about the end,” “You’ve already overcome something greater than this,” and “Behind the collapsing wall, see a new road” deliver a message of hope.
Yim is set to hold his 40th debut anniversary nationwide tour, titled “I Am Yim Jae-beum,” in Seoul at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park on March 17-18, followed by concerts in Suwon, Ilsan, Gwangju and other cities through May.
Earlier on Sunday, the singer announced that he would retire from singing after completing the tour.
