SEOUL, Feb. 17 (Yonhap) -- BTS’s Suga congratulated Choi Min-jeong, the South Korean short track speed skater, for winning the gold medal at the Beijing Winter Olympics.
Suga posted a video of Choi in her final on his Instagram and said, “Thank you for your hard work.”
South Korean star volleyball player Kim Yeon-koung also shared the good news by posting a video of Choi winning her gold and the South Korean men's short track relay team capturing silver in men’s 5,000m short track speed skating relay.
Choi won the women's 1500m short track gold medal with a record of 2:17.789, at the Capital Indoor Stadium of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, on Feb. 16. She won the gold for the second straight, following the gold in the 3000m relay in PyeongChang 2018.
