SEOUL, July 11 (Yonhap) -- Singers from HYPE sold more than 10 million albums in the first half of this year, announced HYBE Lables on Monday.
According to Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart)'s album chart in the first half of 2022, the album sales of singers from Hive, including BTS, Seventeen, fromis_9, Tomorrow by Together, ENHYPEN, and LE SSERAFIM, totaled 1,604,142 as of July 8.
"Based on this chart, Hive Labels accounted for more than one-third of the market in the first half of this year," said Hive Labels.
BTS sold total of 4.26 million copies with their 12 albums. “Proof” released last month sold 2.95 million copies, topping the chart.
Seventeen followed BTS. Their fourth album “Face the Sun” sold 2.37 million copies (Weverse not included), ranking No.2 on the chart.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s fourth mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” sold 1.65 million copies, ranking No.5 on the chart.
ENHYPEN’s first repackage album “DIMENSION : ANSWER” sold 762,823 copies, ranking No.9.
Girl group Fromis_9 ranked No.41 with 141,375 copies of its fourth mini-album "Midnight Guest," which was released last January. The fifth mini album "from Our Memento Box" released on June 27 ranked No.44 with 137,232 copies sold.
Hive label's youngest girl group LE SSERAFIM sold 415,654 copies with their debut album "FEARLESS," ranking No.17 in album sales.
