SEOUL, June 29 (Yonhap) –- BTS' new song "Yet To Come" has been on the US Billboard's main single chart for two consecutive weeks.
According to the latest chart released on Monday (local time) by Billboard's Official Website (as of July 2), "Yet to Come" ranked 68th on the main single chart "Hot 100," entering the charts for two weeks in a row following the previous week (13th).
"Yet to Come" is the title track of the "Proof" album, which summarizes the activities of BTS for the past 9 years since their debut.
This song contains hopeful lyrics that says "You and I, best moment is yet to come." The members including RM, Suga, and J-Hope participated in the lyrics and composition of the song.
Looking at the rankings alone, it fell 55 steps compared to the previous week, but is meaningful in that it is a song from an anthology album, which mainly consists of songs released in the past, and that most of the lyrics are in Korean.
BTS succeeded in putting a total of 25 songs on the "Hot 100" under their group name. Among them, 6 songs including "Dynamite," "Savage Love," "Life Goes On," "Butter," "Permission To Dance," and "My Universe" topped the "Hot 100."
