SEOUL, Nov. 11 (Yonhap) -- Global star idol BTS has been certified Gold with their concert DVD, “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E” by the RIAJ (Recording industry Association of Japan), their agency Big Hit Music announced Thursday.
Adding the recent news, five of the band’s concert DVDs have been certified Gold in Japan.
The RIAJ certifies productions by its total sales. Those that recorded over 100,000 sales receive Gold, over 250,000 sales receive Platinum, over 500,000 sales receive Double Platinum, over 750,000 sales receive Triple Platinum and over a million receive Million.
13-piece boy band Seventeen’s 9th mini-album “Attacca” earned Platinum certification and boy-group ENHYPEN’s 1st regular album “DIMENSION : DILEMMA” was certified Gold as well.
