On Oct. 5th, Korean Central Television aired a documentary titled 'Eight Sights of Mount Baekdu' produced by the Korea Recorded Science Film Studio. The film vividly shows the majestic scenery of Mount Baekdu using footage captured by aerial drones. Given the considerable effort put into creating this video, it is expected to be actively used for foreign propaganda purposes going forward. Since the latest documentary also includes foreign tourists, it will likely be used to promote tourism. Mount Baekdu was registered as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in April 1989.
