Parliament fails to pass constitutional amendment bill

Seats for lawmakers of the main opposition People Power Party (PPP) are vacant as a plenary session is convened at the National Assembly in Seoul on May 7, 2026, to pass a bill on a constitutional amendment, led by the ruling Democratic Party.
