China's visa retaliation against S. Korea's quarantine

In a notice earlier in the day, China suspended the issuance of short-term visas for South Koreans in retaliation against the South Korean government's "discriminatory" restrictions against entrants from China. On Jan. 2, South Korea began to halt the issuance of short-term visas for Chinese nationals and require PCR tests for all travelers from China amid the explosive virus spread in the neighboring country.
