Late Korean War hero Paik Sun-yup's foundation launched

A ceremony to launch a foundation honoring the late Korean War hero Paik Sun-yup takes place at an Air Force hotel in Seoul on June 30, 2023. Paik was South Korea's first four-star general and most renowned war hero, who led key battles during the 1950-53 war and contributed to the modernization of South Korea's armed forces.
