The PanStar Acro, a 2,800-TEU container ship with ice-breaking capability suited to polar navigation, is moored at the North Port in the southeastern port city of Busan on Aug. 20, 2026, before it sails on South Korea's first trial voyage along the Arctic shipping route. After departing from the port on Aug. 22, the ship is to pass through the Bering Strait and the Arctic Ocean to reach European ports, including Rotterdam in the Netherlands. (Yonhap)
