S. Korea to sell 3.7 tln won worth of Treasurys in Dec.
SEOUL, Nov. 23 (Yonhap) -- South Korea plans to sell 3.7 trillion won (US$2.85 billion) in state bonds next month, the finance ministry said Thursday.
The country will issue 400 billion won in Treasurys with a maturity of two years and 700 billion won in three-year government bonds in December, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
It also plans to sell 600 billion won in bonds with a maturity of five years and 700 billion won in 10-year Treasurys.
It will float 200 billion won and 1 trillion won in bonds with a maturity of 20 years and 30 years, respectively, along with 100 billion won in 50-year Treasurys.
South Korea issued around 6.9 trillion won in state bonds in November, the ministry said.
