Briefing on KASI-NASA solar coronagraph

A briefing on the Coronal Diagnostic Experiment, a 20 billion-won (US$14.5 million) collaboration between the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute and the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration, takes place at the Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology in Seoul on Aug. 8, 2024. South Korea and the United States plan to send the jointly developed solar coronagraph to the International Space Station in October to gather information on the sun's outer atmosphere, or corona, and solar wind, according to the Korea AeroSpace Administration.
