SEOUL, June 24 (Yonhap) -- Kakao Games announced the number of pre-orders for its new mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), "ODIN: VALHALLA RISING" (hereinafter referred to as "Odin"), has exceeded 4 million.

 

"ODIN" is a movie series based on Nordic mythology that features characters such as "Thor," "Rocky" and "ODIN," which are also well known in Korea.

 

The advantages within the game include excellent graphics and 'multi-platform' functions that are applied with Unreal Engine 4.

 

The pre-orders began on April 28 and reached a total of 1 million reservations in one day. A total of 4 million pre-orders were made ahead of its launch on June 29.

 

Kakao Games gives limited edition accessories to all users who participate in the pre-order period as well as in-game rewards that can be used once the game officially launches.
