Gov't's stance on nat'l pension contribution ratio

Health Minister Cho Kyoo-hong announces the government's stance on the increase of employees' contribution rate to the national pension at the government complex in Sejong, 112 kilometers south of Seoul, on Jan. 30, 2023. The private advisory committee under the National Assembly's national pension reform committee proposed raising the ratio from the current 9 percent to 15 percent amid concerns that the pension fund is forecast to be fully drained in 2055.
