SEOUL, May 15 (Yonhap) -- The funeral for the rock group M.C The MAX's member J. Yoon, who recently passed away at the age of 38, will begin on the 16th, according to his agency 325 E&C.

 

"The funeral process will begin on the 16th in time for the arrival of bereaved families who are staying abroad," 325 E&C said. "We will prevent the spread of the corona virus (Covid-19) and proceed the funeral behind closed doors in order to respect the bereaved family's privacy."

 

"We sincerely thank everyone who mourned for J.Yoon, who left us so early," the agency added.

 

J,Yoon was found dead at his home in Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, on the 13th.

 

After facing the sudden heartbreaking news, J.Yoon's colleagues in the entertainment industry paid tribute to him online one after another.

 

Actor Hong Seok-cheon posted on social media, "I hope it's only good-bye for just a moment. I feel like you're going to happily greet me when I call you right now."

 

Jin from girl group Lovelyz wrote on an Instagram post, "You always said that you thought my voice was the best. I will always remember you." 

 

Singer Jadu said, "My heart has been torn again, but since you are not sick and painful anymore, so I will remember and miss you everyday until the day we meet again."

 

Actor Heo Jeong-min, who worked with J. Yoon and Moon Child in the past, mourned the late singer, saying, "Jae-woong--you were always kind and nice to everyone. Although I don't know how you've been over the years, I hope you can now achieve everything you want and be happy."
