Seats for lawmakers of the main opposition Democratic Party are empty at a plenary session of the National Assembly's legislation and judiciary committee in Seoul on Sept. 18, 2023, as they took part in an anti-government rally in protest against the prosecution's request for an arrest warrant earlier in the day for their leader Lee Jae-myung suspected of being involved in a series of corruption allegations.
