KOSPI nose-dives

A financial data screen in the dealing room of Hana Bank in Seoul on March 30, 2026, shows the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index having dropped 161.57 points, or 2.97 percent, to close at 5,277.30. Seoul stocks fell sharply lower, led by heavy foreign selling, as an intensifying conflict surrounding Iran deepened concerns about global oil supplies and market uncertainties. (Yonhap)
