'KPop Demon Hunters' wins 3 trophies, Rose two at iHeartRadio Music Awards
SEOUL, March 27 (Yonhap) -- K-pop artists, including BLACKPINK's Rose, swept multiple categories at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday night (U.S. time).
The Netflix animation sensation "KPop Demon Hunters" and its in-film girl group Huntr/x took home three awards -- Duo/Group of the Year and Favorite Soundtrack, which was decided by fan voting, and K-pop Song of the Year for "Golden" from its original soundtrack.
Rose won Best Collaboration for "APT.," her collaboration single with American pop star Bruno Mars, and also claimed K-pop Artist of the Year.
Rose's BLACKPINK bandmate Jennie earned K-pop Album of the Year with her solo release "Ruby."
The K-pop Group of the Year went to boy group Stray Kids, while rookie group Cortis was honored as Best New Artist in K-pop.
K-pop artists also maintained a strong presence in the fan-voted segments of the ceremony.
J-Hope of the group BTS claimed two awards, winning Favorite TikTok Dance for his solo track "Mona Lisa" and Favorite K-pop Collab for "Sweet Dreams," a collaboration with American R&B singer Miguel.
The Disney+ series "Are You Sure?!" starring BTS members Jimin and Jungkook, won the Favorite On Screen award. Rahul Bhatt, who works with the U.S.-based girl group Katseye, won Favorite Tour Photographer.
Outside the K-pop categories, Taylor Swift dominated the ceremony, taking home seven awards, including Artist of the Year.
