Donation of coal briquettes

A volunteer group, launched by the Korea Lottery Commission, affiliated with the finance ministry, distributes coal briquettes as part of a charity event to assist impoverished local residents in a village in Seoul on Dec. 22, 2023. Briquettes are still used for cooking and heating in old Korean homes. (Yonhap)
