SEOUL, May 11 (Yonhap) -- B.I, a former member of boy band iKON, will release a song made by American R&B/hiphop/dance production team, The Stereotypes, in partnership with foreign artists.

According to 131 label, B.I will release his single, "Got It Like That," made in collaboration with American singers Destiny Rogers and Tyla Yaweh at 1 p.m. (12 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time) on May 14th.

The Stereotypes, who produced "Got It Like That," is a team that produced albums for top pop artists such as Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo, Cardi B, and Fifth Harmony.

Bruno Mars' hit song "That's What I Like" and Chris Brown's album "F.A.M.E." have won three Grammy Awards.

According to The Stereotypes, B.I's music style fit well with the song, and was very happy to see three artists, B.I., Rogers and Yaweh, uniformly incorporated into the track.

Destiny Rogers, who is part of RCA Records, is recently receiving attention as the rookie singer-songwriter for the next generation's R&B (Rhythm and Blues) genre.

Rapper Yaweh from Epic Records made his name known by working with rappers Post Malone and Wiz Khalifa.

The single was produced together by three labels.

On the same day, B.I, Rogers, and Yaweh posted a video clip promoting their song release on social media, which showed the three artists having a video call together.

B.I, who debuted as iKON's leader in 2015, made hits such as "LOVE SCENARIO" and "MY TYPE" with outstanding writing and composition skills.

In 2019, however, he left YG Entertainment, his agency, after being embroiled in allegations of purchasing marijuana and other drugs through an acquaintance.

In January, he participated in the production of Epik High's 10th full-length album "Acceptance Speech" and returned to the music industry with the release of his new album "Midnight Blue" in March.
