Seoul mayor says to register candidacy with PPP for local elections

SEOUL, March 17 (Yonhap) -- Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon said Tuesday he will register his candidacy with the main opposition People Power Party (PPP) for the June local elections.

Oh announced his decision at City Hall after twice delaying his registration over what he said was a lack of effort from the PPP to sever ties with ousted former President Yoon Suk Yeol.
