Presidential gift for Lunar New Year

This photo, released by the presidential office on Jan. 31, 2024, shows a gift set that President Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife, Kim Keon Hee, will send to people from all walks of life, including the underprivileged and those who have sacrificed for the nation, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year holiday, known as Seol in Korean, which falls on Feb. 10 this year. The gift package features works by patients with Hansen's disease on Sorok Island and includes four kinds of local specialties --- the traditional liquor Baekilju from Gongju and citron juice from Goheung, pine nuts from Gapyeong and beef jerky from Hwengseong.
