First negotiations between gov't, striking truckers

A group from the union of truckers enters the transport ministry in Sejong, 112 kilometers south of Seoul, for its first negotiations with the government on Nov. 28, 2022, the fifth day of a nationwide strike by unionized truckers that has disrupted supply chains across the cement and steel industries. Truck drivers went on strike on Nov. 24, demanding the government extend temporary rules guaranteeing minimum freight rates, citing high fuel prices. (Yonhap)
