CCTV cameras in operating rooms

A CCTV camera is installed on the ceiling of an operating room at a hospital in Namyangju, 25 kilometers east of Seoul, on Sept. 25, 2023, as an amended medical law went into effect the same day, requiring hospitals to install CCTV cameras to record the surgical operation process when requested by a patient or their family members prior to undergoing surgery with general anesthesia.
