Truckers' strike

Unionized truckers block a ready-mix concrete vehicle in front of the main gate of a cement maker in Danyang, 190 kilometers south of Seoul, on Nov. 29, 2022, to persuade its non-union driver to join their strike. Unionized truck drivers went on strike nationwide on Nov. 24, demanding the government extend temporary rules guaranteeing minimum freight rates, citing high fuel prices. (Yonhap)
