SEOUL, June 15 (Yonhap) -- Reports on actor Park Seo-joon appearing in "The Marvels," a sequel to "Captain Marvel" produced by Marvel Studios in the U.S., is currently drawing attention.

Park's agency Awesome ENT said they would be making "no comments" regarding on reports that the actor completed an internal review of the offer to appear on "The Marvels."

Ordinarily, Hollywood production companies require confidentiality on any issues related to its film until the cast member appearance is confirmed. "The Marvels" is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2022.

If Park Seo-joon appears in "The Marvels," he will be the second Korean actor to enter the Marvel movie after Ma Dong-seok. Ma Dong-seok will star in Marvel's new hero film "Eternals," which will be released in November this year. For Korean actresses, Claudia Kim appeared in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015).
