Traditional Korean red bean porridge

A group of Buddhists make egg-shaped dumplings that are part of red bean porridge, called "patjuk," at Hwangryong Temple in Incheon, west of Seoul, on Dec. 20, 2023, two days ahead of "Dongji," or the winter solstice. The porridge is a favorite Korean dish eaten on Dongji, one of the 24 seasonal divisions of the year. (Yonhap)
