SEOUL, May 31 (Yonhap) -- Actor Kim Min-gwi (27), who stars in JTBC's new drama "Nevertheless" has been tested positive for the novel corona virus disease (COVID-19).

The production team of "Nevertheless" stated, "Actor Kim Min-gwi has confirmed to have contracted the corona virus," adding, "As a result of conducting tests on all the cast members and production staff, everyone was tested negative, therefore resumed filming." The promotion agency for "Nevertheless" explained that there will be no impact on the drama's airing schedule as well.

Ahead of the first episode airing on June 19, "Nevertheless" depicts the romance of Park Jae-eon (played by actor Song Kang), a man who is annoyed with relationship and Yoo Na-bi (played by actress Han So-hee), a woman who doesn't believe in love yet still wants to date.

Actor Kim Min-gwi plays Nam Kyu-hyun, a mutual friend of both the main characters who also attends the same university.
