Truckers' strike

Tractor-trailers are left idle at the Inland Container Depot, a logistics hub, in Uiwang, 25 kilometers south of Seoul, on Nov. 28, 2022, the fifth day of a nationwide strike by unionized truckers that has disrupted supply chains across the cement and steel industries. Truck drivers went on strike on Nov. 24, demanding the government extend temporary rules guaranteeing minimum freight rates, citing high fuel prices. (Yonhap)
