Protest against nuclear power

Protestors from civic groups take part in a rally in front of the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute in the central city of Daejeon on April 26, 2023, to express their objection to Japan's planned release of water containing radioactive materials into the sea from the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant and nuclear power. The rally was timed with the 37th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster that fell the same day. (Yonhap)
