SEOUL, Sept. 21 (Yonhap) -- Presidential chief of staff Kang Hoon-sik has offered to resign, the press secretary at Cheong Wa Dae said Monday.

The secretary did not provide a reason for Kang's resignation offer, but it came as President Lee Jae Myung's approval ratings fell to their lowest point in recent weeks.
