Ahead of World Bee Day

Members of the Korean Federation for Environmental Movement rally in front of City Hall in Seoul on May 16, 2023, to call on the Seoul metropolitan government not to use lethal pesticides at parks, palaces and other green spaces as part of efforts to protect bees. The rally came ahead of the U.N.-designated World Bee Day, observed on May 20 each year to draw attention to the essential role bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy.
