Reconstruction of pavilion from Joseon Dynasty

Gwangju Mayor Kang Gi-jung and other participants unveil a plaque displaying the name in Chinese characters of the Huigyeongru Pavilion, which was built in 1451 during the 1392-1910 Joseon Dynasty, in the southwestern city of Gwangju on Sept. 20, 2023, during a ceremony to mark the completion of the reconstruction of the building that was billed by Shin Suk-ju, a renowned scholar of the dynasty, as "the best pavilion in the East."
