SEOUL, May 17 (Yonhap) -- BLACKPINK's Lisa is set to put on a joint performance with boy group, iKON on the Mnet contest program, "Kingdom: Legendary War."  

 

YG Entertainment announced on the 17th that Lisa participated in the third round of the recent "Kingdom: Legendary War" competition.

 

"iKON and Lisa's collaboration is the 2nd round stage of the third competition in the show. The contest is scheduled to be aired on May 20th."

 

The agency did not disclose any details regarding the songs in which iKON and Lisa will perform together. However, the surprise appearance made by Lisa, who is considered one of the icons in the K-pop industry, is expected to attract a lot of attention among K-pop fans.

 

It is the first time Lisa has worked with another singer since her debut in 2016.  

 

"Kingdom: Legendary War is a television program that shows the battle between six trending K-pop boy bands including, iKON, The Boyz, SF9, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, and BtoB.
