SEOUL, June 23 (Yonhap) -- Producer and singer-songwriter NIve will release his first mini-album at the end of July, according to his agency 153 Entertainment on Wednesday.

Ahead of NIve's album release, the singer is scheduled to unveil a pre-release song called "ESCAPE."

"ESCAPE," a song that expresses the desire to escape from the lethargic reality, features rough guitar and bass sounds, and was written, composed, and arranged by NIve himself. .

In 2018, the singer debuted in the U.S. with his digital single "Getaway," and made his name known as a singer-songwriter by writing and composing EXO Chen's "Beautiful Goodbye" and HYNN's new song "When I tell you goodbye." NIve also participated on "Blue & Grey," a song from supergroup BTS's fifth studio album "BE".

Last year, the singer released singles titled "Like a Fool" and "2easy" and has been active as a singer.
