SEOUL, May 25 (Yonhap) -- NCT Dream, a subunit of SM Entertainment's boy band brand NCT, topped the Japanese music tracker Oricon's weekly album charts with their debut studio album "Hot Sauce."
This is the second time NCT Dream sat atop the chart since the release of its first Japanese mini-album "The Dream" last year.
"Hot Sauce" previously topped Billboard Japan's "Top Album Sales" weekly chart, Japan's Rakuten Music weekly chart, and LINE Music's "Top 100" album chart.
The album, the unit's first release by all seven members including Mark, who re-joined the group, has been anticipated both before and after its release. Based on the tallies made by Hanteo Charts, 1,017,766 copies were sold, making it a million seller.
The title track of the album also reached the top of major domestic music charts such as Genie and Bugs shortly after its release.
