King Gojong's gifts to Nicholas II of Russia

This photo, provided by the Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation, shows works by Jang Seung-eop, a painter of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), which King Gojong (1863-1907), the 26th and last monarch of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), sent to Russia's last emperor, Nicholas II, as a gift on the occasion of the latter's coronation in 1894. The Moscow Kremlin Museum will unveil the gifts at an exhibition for the first time in 127 years on Feb. 10, 2023. (PHOTO NOT FOR SALE) (Yonhap)
