Ahead of 10th anniversary of Sewol ferry sinking

The salvaged Sewol ferry, which sank off the country's southwestern coast in April 2014, still remains stationed at a port in Mokpo, 309 kilometers southwest of Seoul, on April 12, 2024, four days prior to the 10th anniversary of the accident that claimed 304 lives, mostly high school students on a school excursion.
