Great cormorant to be designated as harmful wild animal

A school of great cormorants floats on the Soyang River in Chuncheon, 76 kilometers northeast of Seoul, on Aug. 1, 2023. The environment ministry plans to designate the bird as a harmful wild animal in the second half of the year. (Yonhap)
