S. Korea, U.S. to stage annual exercise from March 13-23

Col. Lee Sung-jun (R), spokesman of South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Col. Isaac Taylor, spokesman of the U.S. Forces Korea, hold a joint press conference at the defense ministry in Seoul on March 3, 2023, to announce that South Korea and the United States plan to kick off a combined springtime military exercise later this month as they are striving to beef up deterrence against North Korea's evolving nuclear and missile threats.
