SEOUL, Oct. 8 (Yonhap) -- President Lee Jae Myung was set to present a premium road bike as a gift to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who is in South Korea on a state visit, Cheong Wa Dae said Thursday.

The gift was chosen in consideration of El-Sisi's passion for cycling and his efforts to promote the use of bicycles as a means to improve public health, Cheong Wa Dae said in a press release.

The presidential office also said that the FA-50, a domestically produced light attack aircraft, provided an aerial escort to the Egyptian leader.

In addition, welcoming videos were displayed on large screens along Sejongdaero in central Seoul, as well as on Lotte World Tower and N Seoul Tower.

The official welcoming ceremony will feature a traditional honor guard and military band and a performance of Egyptian songs by the Gunpo City Boys and Girls Choir.

The state luncheon will be attended by approximately 70 guests from various sectors of the two countries. It will conclude with a performance by Black String, a South Korean contemporary music quartet.
