SEOUL, May 27 (Yonhap) -- Actor Jisoo, who is embroiled in alleged school violence, terminates his contract with the agency.

The actor’s agency, Keyeast Entertainment announced on the 27th that it has ended its exclusive contract with him due to controversy over school violence.

‎Keyeast explained, "We judged that Jisoo is currently difficult to perform, and we have finally decided to terminate the contract by mutual agreement in respect of the actor's intention to no longer damage the agency."

Earlier in March, when allegations were raised that he committed a serious level of school violence during his school days, Jisoo admitted, "There is no excuse for my past misdeeds."

He also dropped out of the KBS 2TV drama "River Where the Moon Rises," where he was starring as the main character at the time, and afterwards, actor Na In-woo was replaced and re-shot all the episodes. However, legal disputes between Victory Contents and Keyeast Entertainment over compensation for re-filming are ongoing.

In response, Keyeast said, "We will do our best to settle the ongoing 'River where the Moon rises' lawsuit until the end."
