SEOUL, May 12 (Yonhap) -- South Korean video game giant Krafton Inc. said Wednesday that its cumulative subscribers exceeded 30 million in just three years after the launch of 'Battlegrounds Mobile' in Korea.

 

'Battlegrounds Mobile,' which started its service in Korea in May 2018, attracted 10 million more subscribers in a year after surpassing 20 million cumulative subscribers last year.

 

The cumulative number of global subscribers surpassed 1 billion last month.

 

In commemoration of the third anniversary of the launch of 'Battlegrounds Mobile,' Krafton will hold an event to give game items away through access and mission rewards.
