SEOUL, June 12 (Yonhap) -- Singer Jang Su-won (41), a member of the first generation K-pop idol group Sechs Kies, who also has recently been rumored to be married, said he was dating the woman ahead of their marriage.

Through YG Entertainment, Jang Su-won said, "I have met someone who I want to cherish, understand, and share the same goals for the rest of my life."

"Since there are a lot of difficulties due to the corona virus, it is too early to mention any specific details but I hope to have a chance to greet everyone again in the future," Jang said.

YG Entertainment also added, "Jang Su-won has met a precious partner and will be continuin his relationship until his marriage. We would appreciate everyone to be happy for the couple who are ready to embark on their wonderful journey together

Jang Su-won and YG Entertainment did not disclose any specific details about the singer's soon-to-be wife.

Earlier on, a media outlet reported that Jang Su-won was dating a stylist and was preparing to get married.
